Thermal Oil Heater

A thermal oil heater is a closed pressure vessel with thermal oil as the heat-absorbing fluid on one side of its surfaces and, on the other, passages through which the heat-releasing flame and flue gases travel. Circulating continuously at 1.5–2 m/s, the thermal oil passes through tubes laid out horizontally or vertically so that no stagnant point remains in the turbulent flow; the heat it takes from the flame and flue gases in the combustion chamber, or from electric heating elements, raises the oil to the required temperature range.
